Job Summary

The Insides Sales Representative is an integral part of our partner engagement efforts. He/she proactively educates our non-engaged customers (partners) on offers and programs they may not already be aware of. Call activity will lead to higher close ratios than a standard inside sales opportunity because there is no cold calling. All leads are current partners who are simply not utilizing our services to their fullest potential. Engagement is, therefore, measured by the participation level after outreach has been completed (successful efforts lead to a “converted” partner). There is no on-going account management responsibilities for this role. Competitive base and commission structure.

Challenges

  • Execute day-to-day inside sales activities focused on partner engagement (calling)
  • Become and remain fully educated on SproutLoud technology ( learn all aspects of Digital Products, Funds & Payments, Media Buy and Marketing Programs)
  • Assist partners with placing orders and/or opting into programs as a direct result of outreach efforts
  • Identify and sell the most appropriate marketing products and services to partners
  • Communicate to team on impediments/features needed by partners to overcome objections
  • Meet or exceed department metrics
  • Display a strong command of all of SproutLoud’s Core Values

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluency in English with exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong sales skills - minimum of 2 years in a sales role (inside or outside)
  • Great personality which carries over through written and verbal communication
  • Ability to smoothly transition from an educational approach to selling new programs
  • Solve problems and push through impediments using creativity and resourcefulness
  • Confidently overcome objections
  • Develop strong understanding of partner needs and quickly connect with business owners
  • Adapt and respond to customer and market needs
  • Learn new marketing concepts, software and processes quickly
  • Strong organization skills
  • Assist small business owners with enrolling into programs and placing orders

Not required, but a plus:

  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
